Let's start from the Mutt Dog!!

Though the nose slightly asymmetrical, but this is the best we can get :)

All covered with fur, but notice a slight dirt there :(

Again, a little dirt there..
Well, for the meticulous people, you will have hard time choosing the perfect plushes. These three that I bought can be considered the most perfect among all available choices. Perhaps because of the fur material, it doesn't stick as good as the other series. Thus, the fur is plucked off during shipment (my assumption only) because you can see a baldy patch here and there. :p *NICI is getting old now* And the dirts, this one I'm not so sure why all of them has dirt all over the body. My guess is the cardbox material where they were put in during shipment somehow stick to their body and cause the dirt. :D but no worries, it can be easily cleaned. ;)

ReplyDeleteIn Germany we have a lot of shops (even five in my hometown), but I also know the problem to get the best of all. So we visit different shops and compare the faces and the quality of plush etc. and after some time of searching we are happy to take the right NICI home. We wish you a lot of fun
I think that their "imperfections" are precisely because of their "natural" way of manufacturing.

@Leona: Thanks a lot. The trio are resting well in my room now. :D Where is your hometown? I would love to visit NICI shops in Germany. It must be wonderful. I have visited NICI shop in Hong Kong, that's the most complete shop I've visited so far. :)
ReplyDelete@Raquel: Haha.. I think so. Well, those 'imperfections' are still tolerable so no worries about that. ;)It's just that the price perhaps too expensive for a 25cm plush. Lucky the shop here offers great deal.
Thanks for sharing the pictures :-) Our jolly svenja have the bald issues too, on her stomach and her head. Looks exactly like what happened in your picture. I think its just the quality control getting bad and not getting any better with newer ones. We still bought the Svenja knowing her bald issues as she had the best looking face. Give and take..face more important haha
ReplyDeleteYes I know that I am a very lucky NICI lover with so much shops all around me. But sometimes it is better to visit them with an empty purse haha...It would be a great joy to make a common excursion with you all from shop to shop in Germany :-)
